We hope that you and your family and friends are well.
As we head towards some slight loosening of the lockdown rules (picnics! garden centres!), we are beginning to make plans for resuming our practice in this new environment.
In the last few weeks we have been on call to support you by carrying out emergency eye consultations by appointment, making replacement spectacles when needed, and carrying out spectacles repairs.
Our aim has always been to support you the best way we can even though our practices have had to operate on limited opening times during the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
We now believe it is time to take the next step and re-open our Paddington Street practice from next Tuesday the 19th of May 2020. We will have an optometrist available for emergency eye consultations on Tuesday and Thursday next week between 10.30am and 2.30pm.

We would like to reassure you that we continue to keep Mallon + Taub a safe environment, for the team, and you, our valued clients. The team are provided with PPE, which includes masks, gloves, and visors. We have hand sanitisers available in the practice.
We understand that you may require replacement spectacles or sunglasses, but perhaps, you may feel a little uneasy about coming into the practice at the moment. So, we would like to offer a service whereby, we could call you, and organise a Face Time consultation to create a selection of spectacles or sunglasses, and then we could arrange to deliver the selection to your home. If you do like one of the selection sent to you, then we could come to your home, take the necessary measurements whilst wearing our PPE, and then return to the practice and organise the completed order to be posted to your home.
We hope to see you in the practice in the not too distant future.
