Hello from Mallon+Taub  😊

We hope that you and your family are all well.

With the lockdown measures being loosened further, we can now see you for an eye assessment if you meet particular criteria.

We have summarised the main points below.

• Patients with a minor reduction in vision.

• Patients with broken spectacles or damaged lenses, who have been “Making do” with older spectacles with an out of date prescription.

• Patients who are anxious or concerned about their vision.

• Patients who require an appointment due to Clinical Risk Factors that are being monitored by a clinician.

If you meet any of the criteria listed above, then we will be able to book you in for an eye consultation, by appointment only.  An optometrist may call you before you come in for your appointment to enquire about your reason for the visit, and to note your history and symptoms. You can call us on 0207 9358200 or email info@mallonandtaub.com to discuss any questions that you may have.

Optometrists are conducting face-to-face consultations and will be wearing appropriate PPE, including facial visor and facial mask (N95 standard), gloves and scrubs.

We have provisioned social distancing measures and have Perspex screens in place.

We have placed hand sanitisers across the practice for your convenience.

We are limiting the number of people in the practice at any one time to maintain 2 meter social distancing.

Video consultations are possible if you prefer not to come into the practice; please contact us to arrange.

Video styling consultations are available with one of our dispensing opticians to choose your spectacles and sunglasses.

Our revised opening times are:

Monday to Saturday 11am to 5pm.

Sunday  Closed

We hope to see you soon. 😊

Stay safe and well,

Joan, Shanah, Thom, Akram, Guillaume and the rest of the team at Mallon+Taub 🌈🌈🌈
